Koster NB Elastic Grey - 2 Component, Elastic Mineral Waterproofing - W 233 033
KOSTER NB Elastic Grey is a light-colored, waterproof, elastic, wear-resistant coating with excellent adhesion to all cementitious and masonry substrates. The material can bridge cracks up to a width of 40 mils, is abrasion resistant and resistant to concrete corroding water such as dilute acids and alkalis. It possesses a good UV-resistance and is radon-proof.

Fields of Application KOSTER NB Elastic Grey coatings are wear-proof, elastic, and waterproof, and can be used for areas subject to mechanical stresses and areas that are subject to cracking such as waterproofing layers on terraces and balconies, as protection for concrete surfaces subject to foot traffic, waterproofing for water tanks, swimming pools, and wet rooms. If a waterproofing system of 2 layers of KOSTER NB Elastic Grey is applied, the material may also be used (applied as a third layer) as tile adhesive. It is not suitable for waterproofing against negative side water pressure or for waterproofing roofs.
Substrate Substrates to receive KOSTER NB Elastic Grey must be sound, solid, and clean. Prime absorbent substrates with Koster Polysil TG 500. Dampen non-absorbent substrates. Avoid standing water on the area to be sealed.
